2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Yeast aroma. Very cloudy milky yellow colour. Very small head. The flavour is quite yeasty as well. A little citrus, too. And more yeast in the aftertaste.

(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of MiP. Pours a very unclear greyish pale golden with a tiny, off-white head. Tart, citrusy nose. Medium body, very light citrus notes and some yeast. Sulphurous finish. Not very Hefeish at all! 180807

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A Mes rate:
Bottle of the new version from Lowlander. Possibly slightly better than the other version. Actually quite tasty but will never be a big scorer. At the end of the day it’s a weizen that is a little more Belgian as the other two folks have noted.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Aroma of lemon and banana. Cloudy/muddy, white/yellow color, small white head, fair lace. Sweet, earthy, bitter, banana, very yeasty. The bitterness is nasty and mouthfeel a little sandy. I agree: seems like a mix of Weizen and Witbier.
