herbstress3 (221), Bellingham, Washington, USA Jul 8, 2002 Very rarely do I really enjoy a porter, but I gotta hand it to Mac and Jacks. This is tasty!! Not too roasty, actually pretty fruity fakepurseninja (469), Sammamish, Washington, USA Jun 10, 2007 Smooth, full bodied real porter. Very nice roasted coffee bean flavor without being over roasted and bitter. The malt really provides a good playing field to bring the rest of the flavors into the palate. The slightly semi-sweet bitter chocolate flavor is also a great piece of a wonderful porter puzzle. improvjock (42), USA Jun 17, 2007 Exceedingly smooth Porter. So dark, it’s nearly black, yet not bitter. Flavors of chocolate with a bit of coffee. Easy to drink beer that doesn’t try to do too much. The best porter I’ve ever tasted.
