Jun 10, 2007 Smooth, full bodied real porter. Very nice roasted coffee bean flavor without being over roasted and bitter. The malt really provides a good playing field to bring the rest of the flavors into the palate. The slightly semi-sweet bitter chocolate flavor is also a great piece of a wonderful porter puzzle.

Jun 17, 2007 Exceedingly smooth Porter. So dark, it’s nearly black, yet not bitter. Flavors of chocolate with a bit of coffee. Easy to drink beer that doesn’t try to do too much. The best porter I’ve ever tasted.

complex malty flavor with coffee and chocolate tones, well balnced hops a great NW porter

Dec 20, 2007 Dark Body w/ a pillowy, tighlty woven tan head. Roasty aroma w/ notes of chocolate. Chocolate flavors dominate also, rather roasty too
