1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a clear yellow. The aroma is fairly nondescript, typical pale lager. The taste is of a cheap, poorly made clone of Stroh’s. Meh... Poor attempt at a clone of a beer that’s barely decent to begin with.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
It poured a light clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of toasted cereal and light resinous hops. The taste was sweet, almost no acidity and had a long sweet finish. Not bad.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours golden with good head, though rapidly disintegrating, and minor lacing. Nice aroma of lager yeast, popcorn malts, and grassy hops - no adjuncts (this is all barley malt; a pure premium lager). Brown bottle prevents skunking. Taste - some crisp hops up front along with tasty popcorn malts. Very solid premium lager - not quite enough hops to meet pils standards, but still nice; definitely one of the better "simpler" lagers I’ve had. I sampled this at the Joplin Macadoodles, not expecting much (Macadoodles is primarily a beer store, not a brewery), but this was nicely done. Got a bottle for a make-your-own six-pack afterward, and the bottle was just as good as the sample I had.
