Pours a clear reddish ale with a short lasting off white head. Malty aroma, taste is sweet and a little bready. Soft and bitter finish. Mouthfeel ok, not too much carbonation. Ok ale, but very mediocre; when chilled, apprioriate for a hot day if you’re not after a complex beer.

Marrón rojiza, coca cola. Dos dedos de espuma. Aroma ligeramente dulzón. Sabor a malta tostada, ligera, de carbonatacion muy alta y algo aguada. Parece un refresco, insulso.

Bottle. This seems to be getting popular in older pubs in Dublin. Reddish with a white head. Aroma is biscuit malt. Flavour is light dry bitter ale, smooth and easy drinking.

Brought a bottle home from Dublin. Nice medium red color with pear and hay aromas. Very malty, dry, and grassy body that needs a better balance. Finish is puckering sweet.

Can from Dunnes Stores, Longford
Copper brown, big bubbly off white head, some lacing
Aroma - light malt extract, cardboard, very little aroma
Taste of light caramel malts, some sugar, malt extract, watery, little flavour, bland
Palate - soft carb, light body, slight fruits, cardboard. Finish is non-descript.
Overall - Tastes of cheap economy brewing. But it’s still better than Smithwick’s

Tasty red Irish ale. The taste is much more like an English ale than most of the Irish reds, particularly the after-taste. Pleasant tasting. Slightly creamy. Does not retain it’s head that well

The head is medium, the body red-brown. It smells sweet, malty. The taste is mild, a bit creamy, unspectacular. Medium 12/9/8/9/-/8
