Ungstrup (29850) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 24, 2011
Bottled. A light golden mead. The aroma has notes of honey - and not much else. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey and some flowers and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle, 11%. Weak honey and wax aroma. Clear pale yellow colour. The flavour is nicely sweet, not overly so. Good oily mouthfeel. Has a little honey in the finish also.

75 cl bottle. Pours pale yellow with no head. Aroma is dry and slight herbal. Sweet, fruity and mellow honey flavoured. Mild citric vague note into a smooth and sweet finish.

fiulijn (15310) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 16, 2011
Screwtop bottle, from the Imkerei at the Grune Markt in Bamberg
Blond color. Nice, fresh aroma, with honey and delicate elderflowers, hints of mint and orange flowers. It’s a quite sweet Mead, although the body is lean; honey flavor with a refreshing flowery touch, elderflowers; it has a correct degree of acidity, but also a trace of bitterness. Very pleasant.

Bottle at home, thanks Alex. Clear yellow coloured with no head. Sweet and fruity aroma of honey with notes of dust and berries. Sweet flavour of honey, caramel and bees wax with notes of alcohol. Sweet finish.
