500 ml can as Arktisk Juleøl sampled in 2009. Clear amber body with a moderate sized, dense tan head. Aroma has malt, toast and caramel. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel and mild bitterness. Medium body and rather short malty aftertaste. Drinkable, bur frankly rather boring. Nothing really going on, just another characterless Vienna.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 ClubGonzo (2695) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 16, 2012
Can, courtesy of Foffern - thanx man! :-) Clear dark coppery body, medium white head. Nose is caramel, raspberries and hints of wet cardboard. A bit of nasty and good at the same time. Taste is burnt sugar, caramel and even some hints of coffee. But wait: boiled veggies in the back? More of both worlds, and this schizophrenic beer seems to have been initiated with the best of intentions only to fall into the hands of an unscrupulous brewing assistant at the last moment. :-P All in all drinkable, but miles from good.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Foffern (728) - Bodø, NORWAY - DEC 25, 2011
Can at home. Golden red brown with a off-white frothy head which diminish fast. Not much aromas, but hints of some leather. More leather in the mouth with dried fruit and some oak. Thin and some slick mouthfeel. Actually more taste than expected. Not the worst christmas beer at this strenght.

04.11.2011. 0,5l Can. Meny Karmsundgata Haugesund. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of roasted malt and some dry bitterness. Very soft and smooth beer. Some sweetness. Caramel. Low on bitterness, it only leaves a dry mouthfeel at the end, with very little maltflavours.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jikvig (269) - NORWAY - DEC 28, 2010
Not the biggest of beer, and the nose is nothing to talk abou. The palate was better than expected, with a decent malt profile and a good citrus note. Esay to drink.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 cgarvieuk (10993) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 4, 2010
Canned thanks to Rune ... copper ... thin lacing ... huge cinamin nose .... and i mean huge cinamon ... sweet toffee malts ... some lagery tones ... but the spice ...cinamon again... balnces out ... not complex or clever but decent enough... as you get further in you get used to the spice ad lagerness comes to the fore.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 omhper (17458) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 6, 2010
Canned, thanks Rune! Clear amber, rich head. Sweet and caramel with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Slight grassy backdrop to a very caramelly flavour, slight bitterness. Clean flavoured, pretty decent commercial semi-dark lager.
