Mack Bitter

Tap. Red brown colour. A fresh aroma with lots of tropical fruit. Very nice. An excellent fruity taste explosion after one second, that blends nicely with the bitterness. Bitter and lasting aftertaste. Finally a bitter I really like! (Blå Rock January 2007)

Unpasteurised and unfiltered on tap at Blå Rock Cafe, Tromsø. Slightly hazy, dark orange body under a thin white head with fragile laceworks. Dark fruity aroma with acid notes. The smell is quite subtle and not too pleasant. Much better in taste. Ripe orange flavour supported by dry orange shells. Good bitterness throughout. Lingering bitter aftertaste, An oily touch shines through, however. Well bodied mouthfeel (02.03 and 09.03.2007).

On tap at Blå Rock Cafe 27 Feb 07. Red brown coloured. A good-looking white head leaving patterns on the glass. A bit hazy. Sourish aroma. Fruity flavor with sourish hints. A lasting dry, bitter finish.

This beer has occasionally been available at Blå Rock and Ølhallen in Tromsø.
