The darkest and heaviest of Mack's beers. Goes well with hot cheese dishes and heavy foods. Excellent with desserts.

On draught, 50 metres from the brewhouse at the brewery tap. Arguably the best of the Norwegian boks. Richly caramelled, tongue bathingly not-quite-rich but a big presence. Needs to get out more.

29.12.2010. 0,33l Bottle. This beer is BB march 2010 but lets try it anyway. Dark brown colour with white head. Very sweet malty aroma. Fizzeling carbonation and bitterness gives the beer a refreshing mouthfeel. Maybe the body is a little thin. Very good bok-beer. First rating: 21.01.2004. 0,33l Bottle. Eidfjord hotell, Hardanger. Fargen er mørk og ølet har bra med kullsyre (som gjør den litt friskere?) Smak og ettersmak erogså veldig bra.
