2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle (33 cl) from Furseth, mange takk! Clear copper colour with a medium beige head. Quite weak roasted malt aroma with some vague nutty and toffeish notes, along with a light touch of alcohol. Light to medium bodied, quite thin for a bock. Good balance with a dry edge and a moderate bitterness. A mediocre bock.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear red to orange coloured body covered by a light white head. This is a very grainy bock with soft toasted notes. In fact, the nose remains very light and unsurprisingly, the mouthfeel that follows is just the same, really thin. Still, some interesting flavours of nutty malts around the edges and minimal earthiness fight hard to complexify the red liquorice simple candied sweetness.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. A sweet bock. Sticky, caramelly malt notes, and some more sticky soy sauce notes. Probably a bit to sweet and stale in the mouthfeel for me, bocks have never been a favourite style of mine anyway.
