Bought a 50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, new design, differs from the old 33cl one (and before that we had Mack Export). Scents of sweet malts, honey, with hints from cardamom or ginger. No head to talk about. Golden to yellow body. Roasted hops and malts in the taste, and I start to think about brandy or cognac. Alcohol.... Warm mouthfeel as a whisky. Not hard to drink, and some pleasant aromas all the way. Alcoholic and roasted malts at the end, even malty candies. I prefer lighter beers than this, but for those who enjoy strong lagers, this could be a pleasant meeting. My rating number 200 was dedicated the real Mack Gull (Gullmack).

Bottle as Gullmack. Golden with medium head. Sweet malty aroma. Some sweet light bitter taste. Taste and aroma is like a typical dark lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
