Can from Meny Oslo City enjoyed at home
Surprisingly, i came over this old rascal. Seems like Mack have started this pale lager again... Quite pale, big white head. Smells of light malts, faint hops, hints of yeast. Light sweet, dry, very clean and crisp, not much flavor here, but it would probably work well in the heat. Moderate bitter, hints of spices and dust.

Mack Isbjørn is back on the market, found a 33 cl metallic blue can, brewed Feb 6th 2014 (BBF.Feb6th2015). It pours a fluffy white head on the pale pale straw yellow body. Citric scents, lemon cream, grass, apple. Malts appear in taste, grainy hops, bread, dough. Slightly yeasty to palate, not at all as watery as expected. Finished with lemon-like malts, bread, malted barley aroma fades out, good. Overall quite tasty, considering that I drank it only few days after it was tapped. Easy to drink.

13.03.2004. 0,5l Can. God pils, uten særlig særpreg. Syrlig friskhet trekker opp intrykket.

0.33 l bottle. Pale golden color with weak head. Sweetish, malty and honeyish aroma with hint of paper and hint of herbal-grassy hops. Sweetish, honeyish and malty flavor with medium bitterness and a dull papery note. Spritzy carbonation. BB date two months ahead but tastes dull and old.

Interesting aroma, maybe raspberry or something similar coming from the yeast. Seems that is was brewed with quite mineralic water which makes it medicinal in a interesting way.
