Lys pilsner. Isbjørn er en lys og leskende pilsner som smaker like godt på late sommerdager som mørke vinterkvelder.
Ingredienser: Vann, byggmalt, humle og gjær.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2015 Light pilsner from Mack Brewery. Pleasant malt notes, hints of grass and hay in the aroma. The pour is fantastic in a lager glass, four-finger head, thick white foam. Flavour is, again, grassy and well carbonated. All in all a refreshing light pilsner, one of my favourite lagers. A thirst-wrencher that is recommended to all pilsner lovers.

50cl can from Nordpolet, Longyearbyen. Pours pale golden with a modest, white head. Mild grainy aroma with notes of cooked vegetables and hints of fruits. Moderate to medium sweet with grainy and slightly fruity flavours and a light bitterness. Watery, boring and not much flavour, but drinkable if served ice cold.

Lys gul farge med tynt hvitt skum. Lukter av korn og litt parfyme. Smaker mildt og litt sødme. Lettdrikkelig og litt kjedelig lager.

50 cl can from Rimi (RIP). Pours straw yellow with a big white head. Really light and easy going pale lager. Typical brew for summer and warm nights. Alright I Guess.

DAA; Can 0,5 L. Pours moderate, clear gold with a lasting, lacing white head. Nose is pale malt, hay, light citric and cardboard. Taste is light sweet and bitter with a short, slight metallic finish. Body is light, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Lyst med et fyldig skum. Lukter knekkebrød med litt fruktighet ved siden av. Smaken er svak av knekkebrød med en grei bitterhet mot slutten. Lavt kullsyrenivå gjør ølet litt flatt.

Appearance: Clear golden color with a white fine head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Mild malty and herbal hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation. Oily.
Taste: Malty, grassy and grainy.
Overall impression: Poor Icebear. I hope The Icebear seek revenge for this lousy beer.
Personal stats: Bottle from Varnaveien Mineralvann in Moss, Norway

Aroma is like a light pilsner, nothing more. I wouldn’t be able to discern this from any other macro-lager. The flavor is definately malty and toasty. Maltier than most store-bought pilsners. I can not say that theres any off-flavors to this brew. Not bad, but not amazing either.
