COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From bottle. Dark redbrown colour. Dark aromas. Quite sweet, will well rounded bitterness at the end. Maybe too sweet for some, but suits my taste. A bit thin, though.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Manglerud enjoyed at home
Pours dark brown with a big tanned head. Smells of candice sugar, wort and malts Medium to heavy sweet, quite malty, hints of burnt malts, some grain. Moderate bitter finish. Not at all an interesting beer. Just dark beer with high sweetness and high alcohol....

Version 2013 tapped@ølhallen 2013-10-25 at RateMeet-II with Rune. Low head, thin layer, on a dark red-wine coloured clear body. Prunes and dates to the nose. Tastes prunes, roasted fruits, mint, toffee, caramel, nougat. Mouthfeel surprisingly smooth and mild. Ends in a very mild way, bread and dough, sweet malts. Not at top even at tap.
