On draught, 50 metres from the brewery. I am not sure this one is made with Minnesota or Caracas in mind! Medium-dark lager with a hint of spice most likely from yeast, caramel in the nose, not enough punch to be warming. Remarkable in its context.

Bottle. Pours a deep bronze body with a medium beige, creamy head. Aroma is caramel, hints of molasses and roasted malts. Taste is caramel, roasted malts with an OK sweetness level. A quite all right Christmas beer; nothing out of the ordinary but all right for an industrial, I guess.

Bottle shared by akevitt. Pours a clear, orange-red body with tan foam head. Aroma of sweet sugary malts, dark fruit and maybe a hint of wine. Flavor is more of the same with a spiced cake flavor near the back of the palate. Light to medium bodied with a slightly syrupy mouthfeel. This one was tasty and easy to drink.

Clear amber with tanned frothy head. Fair lacing. Floral, hoppy perfume, caramel, sweet dried fruit. Old wooden cupboard. Medium bodied with some prickling from the carbonation. Syrupy. Lots of malty sweetness and a long bitter sweet finish. Quite enjoyable although a bit too sweet.
