33 Cl bottle. Apperance; Dark brown, clear with a small head. Aroma; roasty malt and some spice. Flavour; heavy cloying sweetness at the end. This beer is best to heavy norwegian christmasdinner, Ribbe and salted and dried rib of mutton. This is the beer I allways drink christmas evening, served with aquavit(Gilde Juleakevitt 2008), then you are in Heaven!

Dark ruby brown, nice firm off-white head. Slightly roasted, mild butterscotch nose. Little herbal, a bit port vinous. Buttery, sweet vinous, alcoholic flavor. Berry wine and roasted malts. Medium bodied, strongly carbonated palate. Quite warming, but a bit unrefined.

Bottle. Dark brown color with a small head. Tiny carbonation with a refreshing bite, malts, bread and caramel. Maybe abit lacking on the taste and alchocol comes off abit too strong.

33cl Bottle- Dark brown with red tinges and a small, light tan head. Slightly fruity aroma with raisins and dates. Fruity and tangy taste, again with raiains and a hint of sweetness and spice. Drinkable but does not taste like it is 6.5%.

Bottle 0.33 l. Nicely dark amber looks, smallish head. Malts, caramel, some syrup. Alcohol sweetness. Not that different from milder version, except for the alcohol sweetness. Not bad, but quite characterless and thinnish for such high alcohol.
