COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mack Julespesial er en mørk, fruktig ale, med krydret humling. Til juleøl å være, er dette et fruktig øl, og vil smake utmerket til den klassiske julematen. Mack Christmas Special is a dark, fruity ale with spicy hops. As a Christmas beer, this is quite fruity, and will taste great together with classic Christmas dishes.

First beer of 2016, ďakujem Anička. Pours in clear copper body with low white-off head. Aroma has high caramel nutty malty character, no hop aroma present, little bit iron-like notes in the background. Taste has medium to high caramel malty sweetness with high bitterness kick right after, earthy, clean fermentation profile. Palate leans towards the sweetness. Body is medium, little bit slick with high carbonation.

Bottle. It’s a clear, sparkling dark golden to amber colored beer topped by a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is candy-caramel-ish with some piney hints and grass. Grains. It’s medium to thin on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Sweet caramel flavor with some grass and pine cones. Caramel-candy-sweet finish with a piney touch and some bitterness. This is almost soda-like, and sure not very good. Well, it’s flawless, but the flavors are far from Christmasy in my book, and not very good I think. 141205
