larsga (2319), Oslo, Norway Dec 22, 2006 Big white head with holes from larger bubbles. Copper body. Clean, sweetish malty aroma with caramel notes and resiny hop background. Taste is a bit hoppy initially, then soft caramel malts make their entrance, before the hops take over again, and bring up a dry, grassy rear. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. A decent industrial lager. (0.5l can.) Papsoe (10485), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 19, 2007 (Can 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Pours a clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Light aroma of roasted malt and overripr fruit. Medium body with lightly sweet malts and a fruity touch. The finish is dry. I would’ve expected a beer for the dark season ("Mørketid") to be darker and fuller. 191007 Skinnyviking (2725), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 9, 2008 Can. Small but lasting off-white head. Clear good looking amber body. Caramel hops weak aroma. Sweet caramel hops flavor that dies quickly Aftertaste is long sweet and caramel dominated. Generally speaking the beer is however and unfortunately a bit watery. gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Dec 5, 2006 Can. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is caramel, fruit, malt. Flavour is fruit, malt, apple. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Dec 31, 2006 Can, courtesy of Rune. Thanks. It serves clear, golden, with a small off-white head. Malt, caramel and fruits in both aroma and flavor, with more caramel in the flavor. Some hops in the finish. A bit thin mouthfeel, with some fizzyness. Certainly better than the avarage Norwegian pils, but on the other hand, it is not a pilsner... (061126)
