[ Courtesy of Rune ]. Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, toasted, light caramel, light hoppy, dry grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100613]

Can. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light toasted malty and slight grassy. Caramelish and slight breadish. Subdued bitter. Dark malty and slight roasted finish.

(Can 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Pours a clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Light aroma of roasted malt and overripr fruit. Medium body with lightly sweet malts and a fruity touch. The finish is dry. I would’ve expected a beer for the dark season ("Mørketid") to be darker and fuller. 191007

Canned. Amber colour, mediumsized foamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is very sweet malts, fruits, mild toasted notes as well. Flavour is fruits, wood, some sweetness as well as quite salty.

Canned. Amber colour. Thin and dusty, lightly roasty. Just some bitterness. They didn’t really overdo the malt in this winter beer...

Can at home ... light amber ... thin white lacing ... soft sweet grassy malts nose ... light toffee... resiny toffee fruits ... again a little grassy not really me

500ml can massive thanks to Rune who gave me this at the Cask Pub & Kitchen. Drunk at home whilst eating lunch. So I got home hot and sweaty from the the supermarket and wanted something cold that would slip down easily. And this did just the job. Clear deep gold colour with lasting off white head. Syrupy malty aroma. Wonderfully cold in the mouth. Caramel malty syrupy flavour carries all the way through. Very faint hop on the finish. Not great, but you know what? I loved drinking this.

A bit thin mouthfeel, with some fizzyness. Certainly better than the avarage Norwegian pils, but on the other hand, it is not a pilsner... (061126)

Lata from Rune, takk fyri vinurin. Clear amber, medium white head. Aroma of toasty malt and caramel. Ok bit thin mouthfeel. Flavour has toasty malt and caramel, some bitter hops.
