Launched at Tromsø Ølfestival 08. I had a few tasters from tap during two days at the festival. Relatively clear, dark-brown body with a moderate, beige coloured head. Malty aroma with sweet liquorice. Liquorice foundation with more dark malts coming through and ending with smooth bittersweet, hoppy components. The pilsner malt gives the brew a clean and very refreshing feeling in the mouth. Medium bodied and quite easy to drink (13. and 14. August 2008).

Tap. Almost black body. Nice small lasting pale brown creamy head. HEavy sweet aroma. A little strawberry. alittle spicy too. Havy sweet flavour. Sweet fruits. A little too sweet for me. (Blå Rock, Tromsø, 18.09.08)

Hazy brown with tiny beige head. Aroma has grapefruit notes. Sweet flavor with spicy and pine notes.

On tap at Ølhallen Tromsø as Porter No 1. Black colored. A large mocha colored head that lasted for a few minutes. Very good looking! Aroma of liquorice and coffee. Well rounded flavor of coffee and liquorice with fruity hints. Lacks a distinct aftertaste but overall a decent porter.
