Bottle. I must have had a skunked batch, because I did not enjoy this beer at all. I threw 3 of the 6 in the trash.

(Bottle) Pours a black color with a tan head. Sweet, roasted aroma. Taste includes cocoa, peat, coffee, cream, and some light smoke. Average carbonation and slightly watery palate. It’s all right, but a little too sweet for my tastes.

Bottle. Courtesy of yespr. Average creamy light brown and lasting head. Good display of lacework. Black color. Aroma of heavy coffee, chocolate, barnyard, liquorish, brown sugar and roasted malty notes. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet coffee like flavor. Heavy sweet sugary coffee finish with a hint of bitterness.

bottle. pours black with a two finger creamy frothy head, the color of which is light brown. The head slowly shrinks over the course of three to five minutes leaving some thin but heavyish lacing. lots of milk chocolate and plumy notes make up the nose. smooth and very creamy stout with milk-like body and texture. light chocolate notes with a nice mild bitterness appearing on the finish. nice stuff.

(Bottle 27,5 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Apparently a version made in Trinidad & Tobago. Pours completely opaque black with a light brown head. Sweetish, roasted aroma. Medium body with sweetish, roasted malt accents and a vague, underlying burned accent. Some bitterness in the finish. 080707

Black motor oil pour with thick tan head. Head slowly dissolves with only a thin film and lace remaining. Notes of chocolate and malt in the aroma. Roasted malt and chocolate are the main flavors present in the taste as well. Dissapointing thin/watery mouthfeel. Nice chocolate finish. When you consider the 4.9% ABV, not bad.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. This stout poured a deep, deep black with a dark tan head of tiny bubbles that faded immediately. No lace. The aroma consisted of roasted malts, sweet chocolate, and just a hint of coffee. The flavor was made up of sweet milk chocolate, light roasted malts, weak coffee, and a touch of very light smoke. Medium to full-bodied mouthfeel with a good dose of carbonation. A decent session stout.
