pours black with a tight tan head made up of many many tiny bubbles,lots of lacing just grabbing the sides of the glass,scents of roasted malts, expresso. taste of roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate , as brew warms it becomes more sweet and smooth, very easy drinking

Nice pour, head quickly disappears. Excellent aroma, combined with good aftertaste increases value of beer. Generally a good beer with nice bitter sweet mocha flavor.

Jul 14, 2008 Like an alcoholic Mocha. It’s smooth, chocolaty, bitter like a good stout should be. Illegal to sell in Alabama, but completely worth that trip to Columbus.

Jul 11, 2008 Drank it out of the bottle. Very sweet and mellow with notes of chocolate and coffee. Pleasant, smooth finish with a sweet aftertaste. My favorite stout by far.

Jul 8, 2008 A very attractive pour like chocolate syrup with a tan head that stuck around smells like coffee its not very thick and does not have much bite but its sweet and has a coffee/chocolatey taste wasn’t blown away but its a solid brew
