Pretty nice! It’s aroma is of expresso, chocolate, and dark malts. It’s appearance is very dark, near black. It’s head is nice, but quickly disappearing. It’s flavor is nice, with some chocolate, dark malts, expresso, and roast. It’s rather pungent for a sweet stout, but it is bold and complex. Glad to have tried this one.

Jul 14, 2008 Like an alcoholic Mocha. It’s smooth, chocolaty, bitter like a good stout should be. Illegal to sell in Alabama, but completely worth that trip to Columbus.

Jul 11, 2008 Drank it out of the bottle. Very sweet and mellow with notes of chocolate and coffee. Pleasant, smooth finish with a sweet aftertaste. My favorite stout by far.

Jul 8, 2008 A very attractive pour like chocolate syrup with a tan head that stuck around smells like coffee its not very thick and does not have much bite but its sweet and has a coffee/chocolatey taste wasn’t blown away but its a solid brew

Jul 3, 2008 Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Has the aroma of caramel and a little coffee and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, little chocolate and coffee. Didn’t expect it to be as tasty as it was with the low ABV. Pretty darn good all around.
