Malt, rasins, coffee and bitter chocolate nose that pours out pitch black with a large brown/tan head and oily lacing. Very creamy and rich mouth feel thats full of chocolate, toffee and slight bitter dry finish. A very nice sweet stout, especially for the price at Trader Joes in Riverside CA. ($ 5.99/6 pack).

Taste: semi sweet, creamy, lactose, malty. Nose had a toasted milk aroma. Black, mostly opaque, with a fine head and some lace. Full almost syrupy body.

Pours jet black with a thin light brown head. Aroma has notes of nuts, roasted malts, and sweet mash. Tasting notes include nuts, chocolate, coffee, and sweet malts. Finish is sweet, and slick.

I was surprised to find this off the cruise docks at St. Marten. It had aromas of chocoalte, coffee, and roasted malts. The flavors were similar with a sweet taste taking the initial flavors and a slight bitter palate at the end. It was very smooth and easy drinking.

330 ml bottle. Pours opaque with a thick uneven mocha head. Aromas are molasses and black licorice. Tastes are an odd mix of molasses, toasty malts, and acidity. Thick and oily texture, strong carbonation, long acidic finish. The lactose based acidity did not work for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Black color. Thin , beige head. Aroma of sweet molasses, caramel and coffee. Sweet , caramel taste with moderate, roasted bitterness at the end. Usually I don't like such a sweet brews , but this one was very smooth and drinkable. .

Originally rated on 4/11/08- The body was blacker than black, the head was light brown and creamy, lacing on the glass was about average for this type of thick beer. brewed with lactose sugar the sweetness balanced out with the bitterness of malts. hints of roasted chocolate malts flavor this triple stout. overall this is a decent stout, not something i would drink often, but every now and then it is a good for a change of pace.

Dark brown molasses with a thick caramel colour head. The foamy bubbles quell and settle down quickly. Scents of burnt white bread toast, roasted coffee beans, subtle vanilla bean and honey. Sweet brew aroma. Dessert beer, light savory flavours of butter, would pair very well with pecan pie.
