2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Julie would say Belgian white not all wheat. It's ok not too hoppy but she wouldn't want to drink a whole glass she gives 1.8

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy off white to glossed over yellow. There was a decent light foamy lacing even after a bar pour yielded no head.
The smell was a lemon to orange like maltiness letting just a tad of light spice trying to come in.
The taste was slightly sweet and spicy for the most part.
On the palate, this sat about a light to medium with a pretty good sessionabilty about it.
Overall, good beer I’d have again.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Flight draft in Traverse city. Slightly hazy gold with a white film. Absolutely no aroma. Slight citrus in the flavor. Thin and boring.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sampler on tap. Straw golden with larger bubbled white head. Kind of an odd nose: fruity, a dash of spice, but somewhat of a musty pinesol note. Fairly tart flavor. Not my favorite and not really great for the style, either.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at the brewpub. No lemon wedge. Hazy golden with a smallish white head. Yeast and foriander aromas. The Belgian influence could be stronger. Wheat is tasted with coriander and pale malts. Belgian yeadt flavor is a bit too gentle. It tastes of lemon grass, too. Refreshing summer quaff.

Draft @ Mackinaw Brewpub. Aroma is citrus and wheat. Hazy pale golden colour, small white head. Flavour is initially strange cooked vegetables, then wheat, bit of citrus, coriander.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at brewpub: Pours a nice deep gold with a wispy white head that forms a ring around the glass. I had to take a deep whiff to get a glimpse of the yeasty notes in the nose. A bit of time helped to open up things and soon a nice balance of wheat, fresh dough, coriander and esthers emerged. Not as complex as some of my favorite wits, this was still good as it offered a range of interesting notes. The beer remains drinkable throughout. A nice session beer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Terrible. One of the quickest, most bland finishes I’ve ever tasted. It was like the flavor started and then fell off a cliff, and it wasn’t even that good to start with. Very little spice, light fruit, just overall blandness.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a pale, hazy straw color with a head of thin, compact white fizz. A cream of wheat maltiness, mild coriander herbalness, and light citrusy lemon character are present, but dominated by buttery diacetyl. Light bodied, lightly carbonated mouthfeel. There’s so much butter going on in this beer, it almost makes it seem like it has an oily, slick palate to accompany. The lemony citrus was able to cut through the thick butter in the nose, but the flavor and palate are just gross. An unfortunate disaster.
