2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
It pours with a decent-sized, lacy, off-white head on a light copper body. There’s lots of biscuity malt to the nose, with almost no notable hops. That biscuit is also in the flavour along with some bitterness. I wasn’t too impressed with the finish or the beer overall.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle. Poured clear orange-amber with a thin creamy off white head. Slight bready wheat aroma with floral hops. Medium mouthfeel, crisp carbonation, sticky dry finish. Nice malt flavour, toasted grains with a sweet caramel note and a grassy hop finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Clear medium copper with a good sized off white head that fades gradually. Nose is mostly caramel malts with a touch of floral hops. Medium light sweetness with an underlying light bitter hop base and hints of wood. Mouth is a bit thin and watery with soft carbonation. Decent enough.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear and light copper in colour. Floral hops and sort of a roasted nuts aroma. Not as muted as other English ales tend to be but still sports a pretty quiet aroma. Fairly medium bodied but more expensive taste than expected. It is well hopped, especially in its style. I’d take this brew over alot of other New World English styled ales that i’ve had around these parts. Would be again.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 mL bottle. Beautiful copper-orange colour, but not much head. Mostly bready malt in the nose, but there is a hint of earthy hops as well. Not bad, but not especially appealing. The flavour is better, especially once it warms a little. Nice maltiness, with just enough from the hops to prevent it from being one dimensional. Definitely an EPA, not an ESB.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle my non-beer geek family members raved about it. The aroma is citrus and grainy caramel malts. Nice full body & silky smooth. The taste is a lightly citrus zest & mild caramel with some breadiness. A very clean English style pale ale. A well made beer but not outstandinfg or anything.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Tried this beer on recent trip to Southern Ontario. It is one of the best beers I tried in some time. Not your typical pale ale, a bit less hoppy. Almost more like an English brown ale.

500 ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a cloudy amber-red. Smells malty, bread, toasted malt. Taste is the same. Very smooth, nice.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341 mL bottle. Pours medium amber with a white cap. Mild fruit, apple, pear, butterscotch and grain. Slightly sweet with just enough hop to balance out. Moderate body and carbonation. Not bad, just not all that interesting.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Kensington Bistro, in Toronto. Was a bit afraid to order it when I saw PALE ALE in the menu beside the name of the beer. But it’s actually a very decent beer. Was pleasantly surprised. Pours a nice amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet, some hops. Taste is a bit fruity, hops. Well-balanced.
