On tap at the Golden Kiwi in Cambridge. Pours a slightly cloudy orange gold with small, lasting white head. Nose of earthy/floral hops and light bread. Flavour follows suit. Slight bitter finish. Decent sessionable beer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 PaulHegedus (505) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2009
Cask at The Shepherd’s Crook, Georgetown. This is wonderful stuff. It was dark amber brown with a sizeable fluffy permanent head. The aroma had plenty of citrus and grass in the hops, also a bit of wood. The mouthfeel was medium in body and a bit chewy. I could taste plenty of caramel in the malt with some wood, and some grassy hops behind it; there was plenty of depth in the flavour from the cask with some subtle herbal and earthy elements.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beershine (4561) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - OCT 3, 2008
Draught @ C’est What. Clear orange-amber with small nitro-looking, even head. Aroma is earthy, mild with some dirty socks and diacetyl. Soft, low carbonation and velvet mouthfeel. Sweet nutty and malty flavors are nice and smooth with an off-dry finish. Really smooth and quaffable.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Barnabus (52) - Niagara, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 16, 2008
At the Woolwich Arms in Guelph. Flat with no head and very heavy in the mouth and stomach. Smells and tastes of bread dough. Not a pleasant beer.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 Illuminatus (92) - Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 31, 2008
Cask at the Castle on King. Brown with a thin white head. Aroma of light floral hops and a nutty note. Flavour is of mildly sweet malt, with a prominent mushroom note. Hops are barely noticeable. Served at cellar temperature, little carbonation. Needs more hops.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 glip (21) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2007
Cask @ Castle on King. Served at cellar temperature, minimal carbonation. A nice subtle citrus/grassy hop combination, both in the "flavour" hops and in the finish. A decent malt backbone that works well with the hopping, instead of trying to steal the show.
