UPDATED: JUN 24, 2004 Amber/Brown colour, despite the pale ale style. I see that’s part of the style and have had recently very good beers that are included in this style. Neither this or other pales I have had have retained their head. This brewery is high on carbonation, which emphasized water and light in hops or malt. Tried cask conditioned in June 2004 and was somewhat better.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2012 on tap at the catle on king. first of al let me start by saying EPA’s are under-rated all-around. very hop driven nose with english pale malts as a spine. hop driven flavour with english pale malts holding things together. if you have ever been served a proper pint of this elixer you know how good it can be. thx to f&m for making this beer availible. A BIG THX TO THE CASTLE ON KING FOR PROVIDING A FRESH SAMPLE OF THIS BREW!!////////////////////////////////// the bottles of this that you can find at LCBOs are terrible, huge diacetyl bombs, fucking gross

Something like well done baked dark rye bread. The white head contrasted nicely with amber color of beer. Malt, roast, and lack of freshness that made not fun to drink.

draft at bow and arrow in toronto. clear amber with copper hue (pale ale?). it has almost no head. the aroma is slightly malty and has a hint of sweetness. light bodied, it has tea like fell. a strange pale ale.
