[3750-20110603] Cask. Caramel smoked tootsie roll malt aroma. Slightly hazy, dark brown red body with no lasting head. Boozy smoked caramel malt flavour has some sweet notes throughout. Medium body. Tasty, enjoyable. (7/3/7+/4/16-) 3.7-

On tap. Slightly hazy dark brown, almost black. Nice white head. Beer is extremely thin. Alcohol definitely comes through. Not much else to it.

On cask at Volo. Pours a dark brown, near black, with a soapy tan head. Aroma is lightly roasty, with a little caramel. Taste is also lightly roasty with some malty sweetness. Feels a little light in the mouth. Nothing bad about it, but nothing that stands out either.

2011-06-03. Black body with a small frothy beige head. 3+ The flavour is fairly mild, very light roast and dark malt character, light bitterness throughout. 6+ Modest aroma of roast malt, and mild sweet malt undertones. 6+ Smooth average plus bodied palate is very lightly carbonated.
