2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at the rookery. added on untappd as well where the co brewer told me its not truly an APA thats just the style the assigned because they had to. He also specified that people in this area are most definitely not hop heads so they tried to keep this more amber like rather than hopped. Given that info its precisely that, boring bland and mild with almost no high alpha hops and definitely malty finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear amber body with creamy white head. Lightly bready and caramel notes on both taste and aromas. Balances quite nicely with floral hop presence at the finish. Each batch is getting better.

12/1/13. On tap at Bleu Cafe. Hazy, almost creamy, amber pour with a small amber head that sizzles away. Very mild aroma, malty, some biscuit and caramel. Mild flavor, basically no hop character or bitterness. Malty, some caramel and biscuit, a hint of a veggie aspect. Not great.

Draft. Pours hazy amber with no head. Aroma of malts. Taste of a bit of malt but lacking the bitterness I like in my American pales.
