2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 omhper (15965) - Stockholm, - JUL 7, 2009
Bottled at PBF, thanks Cletus! Extremely pale yellow, miniscule head. Fruity with some red berries and yeast. Light and spritzy. Kind of empty, but with some sort of refreshing crispness. More or less no bitterness.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Onenote81 (902) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - APR 23, 2012
Originally reviewed: 4/9/09. Pours a very thin light gold with a decent finger-width head on top. This "head" disappears quicker than I can even get my nose close to smell it. Very bubbly and fizzy. No retention, no lacing. Smells of corn, sour mash, some slight lemon?
Very watery brew. I saved this for after I mowed the lawn for the first time this season, figuring it would be a thirst-quencher and not much else. It was just that. Very wet and easily consumed. Not much for flavor. Some sour corn adjuncts there. Some malt, and very little bitterness present. Decent for a lawn-mowing beer, and maybe the beach. But I most likely won’t have this again.
1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 8, 2010
Sampled at the 2009 Parkville Microbrew Festival. Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head. This beer has little aroma and no flavor. If they attempted to make a boring macro style beer, then they succeeded. There is no redeeming quality of note here.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 ChainGangGuy (3837) - Canton, Georgia, USA - SEP 11, 2009
Appearance: Pours out a crystal clear, yellow body with a particularly thin, sparsely bubbly, white head.
Smell: A spirit-crushing nose smelling only of grainy light pale malts, cracked corn kernels, and some sweetish cereal hints.
Taste: Faint pale malts jumbled up with some sourish corn tastes and a small blip of sweetness. Then, the flavor washes out into a watery void in record time leaving you aghast until you hit the quick, all-too-clean, water-soaked finish. Look ashamed, Mac... look ashamed.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A pretty poor product, even right down to the dumpy-looking label. This is a remarkably watery beer. That’s all there is to say, really. I once remarked how watery it was, that’s just how remarkably watery it is.

12oz bottle. Flying "Angry" Monkey on a plain white label. American Style Beer. Pours clear golden color. Aroma of corn husks. Flavor of the water from a pot of steamed vegetables. And not pot liquor neither!
Rating #2175, My first Kansas rating.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 nuplastikk (2615) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 29, 2009
12oz bottle. Hazy golden-yellow color, thin head. Lemon butterscotch aroma. Lemony, corny, and sweet, with a tangy finish. A dry potentially hoppy crispness, in a really odd almost soda-like fashion, is the real center of this beer. Watery, bad homebrew style with a solid adjunct feel. Mac should be ashamed.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 phishpond417 (2089) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 9, 2009
Sampled from bottle: Pours a clear bright golden colour with a firm malt backbone. Taste of a little hops in the finish otherwise the beer comes across slightly grainy. Nose is pretty neutral. Pleasent and fresh, but lacking anything spectacular.
