COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light-coloured lager conditioned over 30 days. It has a good head, balanced sweet/bitter palate and a clean aftertaste. Brewed for the connoisseur, Mac's Gold is brewed using only choice Motueka hops and quality barley. The bottom fermentation process of brewing by using a gravity system produces a naturally-brewed, all malt lager that contains no added chemicals, preservatives or colouring.

Bottle at the Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Ealing, with tashi, 10th April. Clear golden amber. Sweet malty taste that is sticky but at least better than the likes of Tooheys. Ok palate. I preferred this to the Steinlager.

Draught at Mac’s Brewbar, Auckland. Pours golden with a small white head. Skunky aroma of grain, corn and grass. The flavour doesn’t get any better than that. Tastes like the other mass produced lagers on the market.
