COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light-coloured lager conditioned over 30 days. It has a good head, balanced sweet/bitter palate and a clean aftertaste. Brewed for the connoisseur, Mac's Gold is brewed using only choice Motueka hops and quality barley. The bottom fermentation process of brewing by using a gravity system produces a naturally-brewed, all malt lager that contains no added chemicals, preservatives or colouring.

HAd in bottle in Rarotonga. Overall, pretty unspectacular beer. Overflavoured by malts and nothing else for the most part, the beer tastes just plain old bad.

Clear golden with tiny white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Flavor is grainy with malty and a mild bitter end.

Draught in New Zealand. Golden beer with a yeasty aroma and plainly bitter flavour. Overall an average beer.

Bottled. This was relatively pleasant for a pale lager. It has a slight malty aroma and flavour. Otherwise, itís completely unremarkable.

Bottle 33cl. Gollden/Yellow clear body with a medium size dense white head. A little malt and hops in the nose - otherwise pretty neutral. Sweet malt dominates the flavour and aftertaste.

Bottle Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Dulwich, London. Light, powder like taste, quite forgettable inoffensive beer with not much in the way of taste or aroma. A typical pale lager light on redeeming features.

Immeasurably popular beer in New Zealand but Iím not sure whyÖ.i guess people like itís marketing, just another golden lager from a long line up of similar products.

Poured a good gold colour, a strong head and the original taste was malty and that was all folks.Easy going down one you can go back for more even though it did lack bitterness it was a nice drop,so pleasant. It has a slightly low alchohol content but I would not say it is a weak beer, very well made.Mushrooms came to mind as a flavourwhile I was drinking this beer.
