Bottle. Pours a light gold colour with a firm white head, weak wheat aroma with some spice, the taste is light and has some wheat and spice with a dry fruity finish.

On tap at Mac’s Brewbar. Nice, balanced taste. Aromas of lemon and bubblegum. Taste is sweet, with soft tartness, and average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied; dry finish. Pale, cloudy, with a thin head.

Hazy white-blonde with slight corriandr on the nose. Medium body and carbonation, quitespicycorriander and biscuit malt in finish. An adept but dull wit.

Hazy poor with plenty of wheat aroma, very slight banana and cloves. Flavour is much the same as aroma. Drinkable, but not a favourite

Pours s cloudy light tan colour with a pillowy head. Not much happening on the nose which was disappointing. Palate a soft and a little soapy with not much flavour coming through. Not the beer I remembered.

Pint on tap. Nose is yeasty bar smell, some smoke. Looks bright white yelliw, decent thick head. Taste is smokey bacon and hops.

Cloudy typical wheat beer with foamy head that disapates but stays quite low with steady stream of bubbles. Aroma and palette of banana and dried apricot, lingers for a while. A little bit sweet but well balanced. Not a fan of this style.

A fairly uncomplicated wheat beer, aromas and flavour dominated by lemon peel rather than banana, bubblegum and cloves. Sadly this beer’s production has been halted by a thumping great earthquake in Christchurch. Hopefully it’ll be back in production in time for summer as it occupies a good space in the market as a bit of an eye opener for the mainstream beer crowd.

Bottle @ Southern/Western Denmark Gathering , Ulfborg. Pours hazy yellow with a small creamy white head. Lemon, yeast and wheat. A bit artificial. Mildly tart lemon flavor.
