Aroma: funky notes giving way to citrus and a hint of pear. Appearance: hazy pale yellow with a large fluffy white head. Flavour: bubblegum and citrus with a soapy creamy aftertaste. Palate: medium mouthfeel and very carbonated.

On tap in Hongkong at PizzaExpress.
Smooth and fresh beginning. Light and fresh. Nice Belgian Wit yeast on a tart and dry body. Fresh and smooth. Dry fruity clove aftertaste. Crisp, thirst quenching but still deep. Hints of coriander and lemon in the aftertaste, hints of bitterness. Nice.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good grainy taste, malt and wheat. Balanced but it would need some citric and spicy notes to be more interesting.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tasted 4/2/2014. BB 19/09/14. Poured a cloudy yellow gold colour with 5mm of white foam that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation moderate with large bubbles. Aroma dominated by spices, particularly cloves, and not much else. Taste with slight cloves that masks anything else. Light body. Smooth, light with slightly clove finish. Nothing special but on par with most wheat beers.

2.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not a great example of a weissbier. From 568ml bottle (NZ$2.59 at Countdown!), poured with a small head, and then disappeared (actually it went a bit flat - glass was clean too). Very little lacing on glass. No nose, no aroma - disappointing. Taste of citrus and coriander, nothing else. Doesn’t stack up to other much better witbiers on the market. The only thing they got right was, yes it is a cloudy wheat beer. I don’t think it will be around much longer. Won’t buy again.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cloudy pale yellow. Head dissipates but creates nice rings. Bland with sharp acidic metallic aftertaste. I find it difficult to find much flavour in this beer. Distinctly average
