Aroma: funky notes giving way to citrus and a hint of pear. Appearance: hazy pale yellow with a large fluffy white head. Flavour: bubblegum and citrus with a soapy creamy aftertaste. Palate: medium mouthfeel and very carbonated.

Tasted 4/2/2014. BB 19/09/14. Poured a cloudy yellow gold colour with 5mm of white foam that retained OK and laced OK. Carbonation moderate with large bubbles. Aroma dominated by spices, particularly cloves, and not much else. Taste with slight cloves that masks anything else. Light body. Smooth, light with slightly clove finish. Nothing special but on par with most wheat beers.

Not a great example of a weissbier. From 568ml bottle (NZ$2.59 at Countdown!), poured with a small head, and then disappeared (actually it went a bit flat - glass was clean too). Very little lacing on glass. No nose, no aroma - disappointing. Taste of citrus and coriander, nothing else. Doesnít stack up to other much better witbiers on the market. The only thing they got right was, yes it is a cloudy wheat beer. I donít think it will be around much longer. Wonít buy again.

The head is ok, the body light and cloudy. It smells sweet, citrus, coriander, malty, fresh, bit grassy. The taste is coriander, spicy, less malty, bit citrus. 12/12/11/12/-/11

Cloudy pale yellow. Head dissipates but creates nice rings. Bland with sharp acidic metallic aftertaste. I find it difficult to find much flavour in this beer. Distinctly average

Draft at the source. Cloudy golden yellow color. Aroma of banana and lemon esters. Taste is banana bubblegum and clove. OK.

Draught. This brewery has really not lived up to the hype. I found the wit to be bland and and uninspiring.

Bottle. Pours a light gold colour with a firm white head, weak wheat aroma with some spice, the taste is light and has some wheat and spice with a dry fruity finish.

On tap at Macís Brewbar. Nice, balanced taste. Aromas of lemon and bubblegum. Taste is sweet, with soft tartness, and average length. Palate is oily, and medium bodied; dry finish. Pale, cloudy, with a thin head.

Hazy white-blonde with slight corriandr on the nose. Medium body and carbonation, quitespicycorriander and biscuit malt in finish. An adept but dull wit.
