poued big creamy head but had chill haze from being too cold in the fridge. Did disapear when warm. Grainy aroma, sweet malty taste with bitter hop after taste. (Was prevesioly called Mac’s Premium reserve.)

Pours a slightly cloudy gold color, generous white head, nice lace. Malt nose, slightly sweet start, top thin, the finish is lightly hopped, acidic, dry with light to moderate carbonation, clean and crisp, a great Summertime Beer. Thanks Beer_Legend

330ml bottle bb 31/05/07. Bright straw yellow, good clean white fluffy head. Sweet floral aroma, full mouthfeel. More sweetness than dryness but reas balanced nonetheless. A touch creamy, marmalade. Nice beer.

Poured from a 300 ml. bottle into a 440 ml. tumbler. A slightly dirty yellow lager which packs a nice enough bite, is pleasantly fruity but not overly so and produced a white fluffy head which lasted longer than those found on most bottled or canned, easy-to-find lagers. Certainly worth drinking again but I’m glad that it was priced to clear as it’s a bit too expensive for many of us.

Mine has a silver label titled "Premium Reserve". Anyway, pours clear gold, moderate head, a little lace. Great aromas of fresh grass and malt. Palate holds up with the same, nicely balanced and flavoursome.

Some perfume sweetness. Nice enough, certainly better than macs gold and quite distinct form it. I had the Special reserve which is claimed to be the same as the Nelson. Light carbonation.

Clear and golden. Interesting, slightly grape like aroma. Full bodied with good carbonation. Malty, grainy and mildly vinouse flavor with a bitter finish.

Bottled: Pale yellow coloured. Light dusty. Huge white head. Has lots of carbonation. Quite good nose, without beeing outstanding or by any means great. Sweet and malty notes. Citrusy and fruity flavours. Light bitterness. Is quite watery in the aftertaste. A light little lager with no outstanding points.
