1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 TheGrandMaster (2313) - Auckland, - NOV 21, 2007
Draught, a carbonated clear gold with a thin white bubbly head. An effervescent gingery aroma with some honey sweetness. A very light mouthfeel. A touch of spice and ginger that disappears quickly in the otherwise hoppy flavour. The finish has an unsavoury dryness that leaves a dusty feel in the mouth. A drink for the ladies - no offense intended....
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - APR 11, 2009

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Maria (8589) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 5, 2009
Courtesy of Lis, thanks for remembering my passion for beer :) It is warm golden with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of nectar/aromatic strong, yellow flowers and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness and the wonderful flower notes just like the aroma and the finish has some slightly dry citrus. It is uncomplicated, quenching and delicious.

Clear golden with an average white head, grainy aroma with some stonefruit notes; clean grainy and slightly fruity flavour, low bitterness. Nothing very special, but refreshing and tasty.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 sdriessen (318) - Dunedin, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 21, 2009
Clear yellow hue with a white head.
Mildly hoppy, lemon nose with herbs and a sweet, straw-like malt. Kind of grassy. Some ginger in the nose.
Flavours are of lemongrass and a mild, grainy malt and with a grapefruit sort of tang. A wee bit of spice, mostly of ginger.
Finishes slightly dry but with a malty sweetness. Not TOO bad, but I still don’t understand NZ’s summer beers.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 zebracakes (1339) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 14, 2009

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RichardGretton (3759) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2008
Bottle at a Macs tied restaurant in Christchurch, New Zealand. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is mildy hopped and quite ginger, and the flavour is ginger beerish and bitter. Overall an average beer with a distinct ginger flavour.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 yalnikim (800) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 13, 2008
Tasted 28/02/2008. 330ml bottle from New World, Carterton. Pale gold with a tight white head that slowly fades. Mini-Emersons Pilsner on the nose - clean malt character, a little bit of citrus zest and lychee in the hop. Clean and medium sweet in the mouth, with just a shade of hop flavour. Light-medium weight and medium carbonation. A little flutter of riwaka and a lemongrass bite in the finish. Pretty drinkable, and far better than the candy-beer that is Monteith’s Summer Ale. The inital bottle run of these beers seemed to have lost all the hop and lemongrass - and was awful - but this second lot seemed a lot better. Certainly a better beer the times I tried it on tap.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 sunevdj (2492) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2008
Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. Sweet with citrusy aromas. Has a nice underlying bitterness. Medium carbonation. Lemongrass? Short finish with lemon. Nice and fresh.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yalnikim. Clear, pale golden with a tall, pretty, dense, white head. Fresh and fruity aroma with some fruit bubblegum. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel and lightly sweet fruit notes. No real hop feel. 310108
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 bozoNZ (672) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 27, 2008
330ml bottle. Pours with a good lively white head. Clear straw yellow. Initial aromas was bready with a slight pine touch but on settling it develops with a touch of lemon. Undercarbonated mouthfeel given the head but the palate while clean and moderately dry is short leaving with a watery dryness and faint winey finish. Definately a thirst quenching summer quaffer.
