Bitter taste kind of lingers with you, but all in all this is a damn good beer. My first from the portland brewing company and i was impressed.

Rather bland, even for an amber. It’s refreshing on a real hot day - but nothing else really. Unremarkable.

I guess im the lone gunman, but I really like this amber ale...maybe because its brewed about 15 minutes away from me adds some kind of spirit to it :)

Not quite as good as the others I tried from this brewer, but still good. Not great mind you, but good.

Decent brewski, but nothing too exciting. With a few notable exceptions (Mac and Jack’s for one) amber ales are pretty boring stuff.

Unusually malty nose for a Cascade-based pale ale, finely balanced. Good bitter edge to full, warm flavors -- excellent for fall and winter interludes.

Fairly standard amber ale. I sort of wish bigger American microbrewers would be more creative sometimes, but I guess you gotta sell beer.

Nice amber color, very smooth. Great balance. This is a terrific beer. I want to have another under better conditions, because I have to admit to being a bit tipsy when I tried this beer. But even when I am buzzing I can tell a damn good beer when I taste it.
