frankenkitty (1789), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Feb 6, 2008 Mid-amber and clear, moderately carbonated, under a full, fluffy, cream-colored head which falls slowly and laces copiously. Caramel sweetness in the aroma is contradicted by unripened citrus and sour vegetals. Flavor finds mostly mild citric hops with a fruity bitterness before a light sweetness picks it up in the finish. A tart wash comes back and hangs a little in the aftertaste. Overall, this is a pleasant, mild brew which is only steps away from APA territory.

Suds_McDuff (976), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston,TX, Texas, USA Jul 20, 2008 this was a big surprise, i was expecting a decent beer and got a truly solid offering... quite a bite of hops in this one ... dark syrup colour .. good good stuff ... the hop backbone on this is nice.. i highly recommend this one, seems similiar to sierra nevada pale ale.. Headbanger (926), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jul 16, 2008 22oz bottle-An amber bod with a loose off whtie head Arom aof hops and malt. Taste of the same. A little light but very drnkable. zombywoof (276), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Jul 7, 2008 This seems a little more citrusy and piney than some ambers I’ve had. Moderate toffee and caramel. A pleasant amber ale, but then again isn’t that what most amber ales aspire to...pleasantness? God, I’m getting jaded. spikester (364), Salem, Oregon, USA Jul 3, 2008 Nice amber hue with an off-white head of about one inch. Some lacing. Good floral hop aroma.
Taste is sweet malts with just a kiss of Cascade hops. A little watery but it is an Amber. Probably the most user-friendly Amber Ale on the market. Would be a nice transition beer for the macro crowd. Very nice. phishpond417 (1162), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 29, 2008 Great beer all around! light copper colour, medium sized but fluffy white head. aroma is well roasted malts, slightly hopped and touch of walnuts. taste is full but curiously delightful leaving you with a yearning of wanting more. nice beer. :)
