4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 mikey (448) - farmington, Utah, USA - FEB 19, 2007
Poured a rich golden bronze color with a head that vanished completley. The nose was strong with citrusy hops. Below was hearty malts with a crisp fruitiness of apples or pears. The flavor contained sweet bready malts, cookie dough and an element of single malt scotch. A brushing of grapefruit hoppiness encircles the beer and brings a perfect balance. The grapefruit-like zest really complements the flavor of the malts. Drinkability is very high and is suitable for any type of occasion. Exellent!!!

A pretty tasty brew, very crisp, and dry with an almost evergreen piney taste, rather enjoyable

Thanks <a href = "http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID= for the bottle! Had this one in North Aurora, Illinois. Had I not known better, I would have thought this one was an APA, it was very hoppy and bitter. Delicious red pour, floral and bitter. I was very happy with this!

Yummy aroma! Almost bocky. A fairly sweet taste with some light hops. Bravo. Usually ambers suck, but this one exceeds expectations.

I kind liked this stuff. Bright amber appearance. It definitely had more of a kick in the aroma and taste than most standard micro/brewpub pale ales. Quite effervescent on the tongue, nicely balanced.

Nice looking beer with a little diminishing head and a nice reddish color. This has a nice clean taste with a smooth finish.
