mikey (320), farmington, Utah, USA Feb 19, 2007 Poured a rich golden bronze color with a head that vanished completley. The nose was strong with citrusy hops. Below was hearty malts with a crisp fruitiness of apples or pears. The flavor contained sweet bready malts, cookie dough and an element of single malt scotch. A brushing of grapefruit hoppiness encircles the beer and brings a perfect balance. The grapefruit-like zest really complements the flavor of the malts. Drinkability is very high and is suitable for any type of occasion. Exellent!!!
Lager_Love (65), Clinton, Missouri, USA Sep 10, 2006 A pretty tasty brew, very crisp, and dry with an almost evergreen piney taste, rather enjoyable ttboy8099 (73), Corvallis, Oregon, USA Feb 7, 2002 Smooth, and clean. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA Nov 5, 2002 Yummy aroma! Almost bocky. A fairly sweet taste with some light hops. Bravo. Usually ambers suck, but this one exceeds expectations. gws57 (988), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA May 29, 2007 Thanks <a href = "http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=39905">CarterHayes for the bottle! Had this one in North Aurora, Illinois. Had I not known better, I would have thought this one was an APA, it was very hoppy and bitter. Delicious red pour, floral and bitter. I was very happy with this!
