COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With beginnings reminiscent of a Bohemian pilsner, this bountiful craft lager is a refreshingly hoppy Northwest experience.

Yeasty and yellow fruity. Light and flavorful. Would be better on a warm night, but works well with the fire pit.

Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a huge bubbly white head that displays moderate retention and lace. Smells of light grains with a hint of honey sweetness, floral earthy hops with a touch of buttery soap? The flavor is sweet and malty with hints of butterscotch and a really unbalanced earthy spicy citric hop bite. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost tart mouthfeel. I wanted to like this but I just didn’t. A sweet unattenuated brew with a hop bill that doesn’t mesh at all with the beer style.

22 oz. bottle ($1.99) pours an almost clear golden color with a frothy white head that leaves some clumps of lacing. Aroma has cereal grains, some light floral hops and grass. Body is light to medium with average carbonation. Taste is slightly bitter with some soapiness and salt in the finish. Very good for a lager, but without the flavors I expect from a Bohemian Pilsener.

Appearance: medium gold with a reluctant, soapy, short white head, and a TON of unexpected (for a lager) floaties. Aroma: honey smacks cereal, some floral and grassy hop notes, and just a hint of corn syrup. Taste: sweet and crackery malt dominates up front, with a refreshing wave of slightly peppery, slightly mineral, slightly grassy hops. Finish: clean and crisp, with a bit of almost salty minerality over lightly toasted white bread. Notes: Did not seem terribly pilsnery to me, but it was a decent enough lager, which I like. Palate was full-bodied, and flavor was decently balanced. A workmanlike beer.

22 oz bomber from my son Dan for Christmas. Pours a dark straw color with a white sticky head that sticks around a while. Buttery aroma with hints of nuts. Flavor has some salty notes. Mouthfeel is slightly crisp. Avg.

22 oz bottle ($1.99). Pours pale, golden and clear with a decent frothy foam that leaves lacing. Soapy and bright. Smells clean and grainy and a bit like bread. Faint herbal hop aroma. Light-bodied and crisp with some carbonation. Smooth and thin texture. Lightly sweet and a little bitterness. Balanced finish. Not bad for a pilsener. Refreshing.

Pour from a 22oz bomber purchased at Tali’s Party Store in Kalamazoo. Clear yellow lager looking brew with amble white head and surprisingly good head retention. Aroma is light malts, spice, a little corn grass and skunk. Taste is light sweet malt at the start of the swallow with a great transition to a respectably hoppy finish and lingering spicy bitterness that is perfect for a true pilsener. This is good!

Found this on sale for 1.99 a bomber - the store had a ton of it to get rid of - went in knowing it may be slightly past its prime - pours a lightly hazy gold, with a fluffy, well-sustained head - the aroma is of lightly honeyed maltiness, moderate mineral, light breadiness, lightly floral hops - doesn’t smell off or old - flavor is fairly sweet, almost syrupy up front - the middle brings moderate floral and bitter hops and light mineral - the finish brings obvious alcohol and a lingering syrupy sweetness - too sweet, with too much apparent alcohol, and not at all as clean as it needs to be - meh.

Healthy sample pour of clear yellow gold with a fully fluffed head. Nose is slight hop, mild citrus, malt forward. Flavor is definitely malt forward with a healthy dose citrus from mild hop. Drinkable, but not a favorite..

Bottle.Poured clear amber color with an average to large white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew
