From bottle. Deep midnight brown color, with tan head. Aroma is coffee and spiced cocoa nibs. Taste is dark chocolate mocha, strong coffee, pitted fruit. Has a tinge of sweetness on the finish, with the coffee also sticking around.

alcohol, licorice, dark chocolate. hard to coax a dark khaki head that faes quickly, well balanced flavor, roast malt/coffee most assertive but still not dominant sharing tongue space with resin, alcohol and dried plums. has its own identity in the mouth, lighter than expected but still full. slightly sticky finish

Pours dark brown with a medium creamy tan head. Aroma has roastiness and light coffee...a bit boring and one dimensional. Flavor has a cheap caramely note, some coffee, and mild burnt bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with a burnt/bitter dry finish.

22oz bomber shared with Ed5388. Poured a solid black medium density body under a foamy beige head. Aroma of cola, sweet dark chocolate, earth, slight alcohol and burnt vanilla extract, wet raisin and dates, burnt marshmallows. Creamy body with average carbonation. Flavor of chocolate, dark toast, marshmallow and some freeze dried coffee. Okay.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2013 22oz bomber. Shared thanks to dmac. Pours a thin black color with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet chocolate, perfumy/floral notes, and hints of roasted coffee. Taste of chocolate, bitter roasted coffee, and a fake sugary aftertaste (Splenda?).

Deep and dark with a thinnish tan head. Coffee, roasted malt, cocoa, raisins, cherry. Full and smooth. A very nice stout with a bit of tartness.

It pours coffee brown with just a bit of red tone. The light beige head vanished quickly. Aromas of coffee, booze, caramel. Flavor is the same, but a bit muted at this point. Some roasty bitterness fades into a bit of milk chocolate sweetness. It’s creamy but thins quickly. I wish I had found this 7 months ago :(

Bottle shared with my brother round the campfire. Aroma was chewy molasses, dark chocolate, and slight fake coffee. Pours thick and black with very little carbonation or lacing. Taste is tobacco, molasses, bitter dark chocolate and subtle coffee grind. Ultimately, thick and not too much of anything.

Pours very dark with a thin tan head. Barely any aroma. Flavor is of burnt something, hard to identify, afterflavor of bad burnt coffee. Not anything impressive.

Motor oil dark, tan head. Dark chocolate aroma and taste. Maybe caramel and coffee. A bit bitter, not real smooth. Ok at best
