2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sorry, but no. The aroma gave me false hope that this beer would be a special treat. No, nope.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2012
Location: 12 oz bottle from the Wine Corner in Paia, Maui, 7/10/12
Aroma: The nose has some light citrus and some malty notes
Appearance: It pours a yellow-orange color with a white head
Flavor: The flavor is lightly sweet and light-medium bitter
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a decent feel, and an easy drinkability
This was an average example of a pale, not a good or bad beer really, just average and drinkable. It is decently refreshing.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Poured into a pint glass. Transparent yellow with a thin white head that was quickly gone.
Very faint smell of wet malt... and nothing else.
Slightly sweet, hint of charcoal (weird), with bitter following, but not hoppy.
Bubbly, moderate carbonation with a light body. Hits the mark for a pale ale here.
Drinkable, besides the charcoal taste, but not all that enjoyable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Has a nice cake of white head and a clear golden hue. Beery nose. Smooth body; lively carbonation. Hop notes are decent up front, with a bit of citrus, but they seem to fade fast. Malts are pleasant, albeit simple (white bread, light toast and water crackers). Mild sweetness. Mild bitterness. Slight off-flavor reminiscent of metal and blood. OK session beer, just not overly exciting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden color with a small but nice white head. The aroma is fruity and a little spicy yeasty with a touch of tropical fruit, unripe banana, and sugary sweetness. Not enough hops to balance, or a characterful yeast strain, but fairly drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cereal mash aroma, slightly fruity hops. Light straw colored pour with light white head. Spicy hop flavor indicates a decent amount of hops; slight breadiness on the finish. Light bodied and refreshing with a great balance and clean bitterness. A sessionable pale that packs a surprising amount of hops.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. This beer poured beautifully, like an archival beer sample photo to be used to advertisements. It was golden, clear, and had an inch tall white head. There was slight hops in the nose, dominated by grainy malts. The yeast was noticeable in the aroma. Taste was biscuit/grainy malt, with earthy and floral hops. Not a bad little pale ale at all.
