COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A surprisingly sublime Belgian-style triple offering an electrifying blend of spicy aromatics balanced with a lively malt palate that is so good it’s scary.

Pours a nice golden color with a touch of haze and a finger of compact white foam. The nose has a nice malt aroma with pear, Granny Smith apples, a light cherry character. Floral hops are present as well. The taste starts with a big maltiness and apples, though it is not as sweet as in the nose. Midway though, the spicy yeast phenols add a sharp twist. Candi sugar and big phenols round out the end. Overall it’s an Okay beer. I’m not really geeked about the whole package. It’s a bit too phenolic; the alcohol is not particularly well hidden and the sweetness didn’t meld well with the rest of the flavors.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent orange colored body. The nice aroma was malty and musty. The sharp bubbly mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a bitter hoppy aftertaste. The bubbly flavor contained notes of candy funk and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Spine Tingler pours a hazy apricot with a fine head of white small bubbles. Nose is slight citrus hops with just a faint hint of banana esters. Taste is moderately sweet with nice peach flavor. Finishes rather clean and simple just a hint of bitters. body is got a good amount of fizz.

22oz bottle. Slightly hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of spice, sugar and herbal tea. Flavor is sugary sweet, spicy peppercorn, alcohol and honey. Medium body with average carbonation. I paid $1.50 for this and it’s a steal at that price, kind of sweet for the style though.

Pretty solid little tripel. Very lemony, pine and spruce on the nose. Taste is crisp and finish is very dry. Pours a cloudy, hazy yellow with lively carbonation. Good!

Fairly mild tripel (sorry, TRIPLE). Filtered. More of a Belgian golden, minus the "strong". Slightly medicinal bananas in the aroma. Flavor is pleasantly fruity. Bit of an alcoholic bite to it.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a thick, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of yeast, coriander seed, bananas, a hint of curacao and a bit of corn. Full-bodied; Strong banana flavour with a lot of yeast and wheat with a bit of curacao on the finish. Aftertaste is strong as hell with alcohol very noticeable and an almost creamy banana flavour with a lot of wheat and a very sweet finish. Overall, not as complex as I’d have imagined, but the sweetness, yeast, bananas and yeast are definitely noticeable, along with the pungent alcohol. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 30-December-2012 for US$5.89 sampled at home in Washington on 26-January-2013.

Bottle. Lactic lemon malt, Belgian yeast, and alcohol aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Sweet orange-lemon malt and acidic alcohol flavor. Lighter body. Okay - decent style-wise.
