3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 alexsdad06 (3041) - Ohio, USA - JUL 25, 2012
22 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear bright golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is moderately sweet, grassy, bread dough with light citrus. The flavor has mild sweetness (less than the nose), grass, bready malts and a hint of citrus. This was fairly underwhelming.

Rotten pungent aroma. Great floral tones. Very light yet strong headiness. Banana. Pretty good.

Cloudy golden pour with nice white head but fairly disappointing retention. Yeasty nose with bready malts and banana esters. Taste follows the nose. Not bad for the low price.

Sampled on 5/26/2012. This Belgian Triple pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small top no head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of apricot and orange. Yeasty and floral. A medium bodied Triple. The malts are fruity and sweet, apricots and oranges with a touch of cereal. The hops are floral. Nice very fine carbonation, lots and lots of little bubbles. Slightly sweet tasting. There just seems there should be something more here, nothing bad about this beer, but it seems lacking something. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Out of a 22 oz. from Uptown Market. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a white head. Smell is malty and sour. Taste is full and sour. Not a hint of alcohol considering the high ABV. A well made Belgian ale.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of sweet candied apples, pears, Belgian yeast, straw, the fruity esters dominating the nose. Flavour of Belgian yeast first and foremost, with semi-sweet apples and pears, some straw malt. High-but-fitting carbonation, with signature Belgian yeast without the fruitiness being too sweet. Exceeded my expectations - great tripel.

A very good beer, not too big, not over the top just a very good belgian ale. It packs a big punch.
My wife who likes the soft belgians like blue moon thinks this is as good as duvel.
This has a better flavor than duvel but not as clear or crisp. So at the right price it is an excellent beer.

Slightly hazy bright golden amber with a good white head and vertical streaks of lace. The taste begins with strong caramel mixed with light spices, honey, wheat, and toast. The flavor grows through the palate to a edgy, non-hoppy finish that brings things back to a nice balance. A solid example of a Belgian Ale. Recommended.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. This its a sweet beer. Notes if spice, sugar, alcohol, pilsner malt. Needs some refinement, lose the sweet and finish dry would help this beer a ton.

Bottle from case and keg in new hampshire. Silky golden pour. Powerful yeasty aroma, bread, malt. Belgian candy, bread, yeasty, peppery, golden malt. Bit of a sting on the back end.
