draft at the brewpub - Pours very dark brown with a small tan head. It has a mild aroma of dark roast malt and cherries. The cherries and chocolate both come through in the flavor though not powerfully. The cherries give a slightly sour characteristic. While the roast malts of a stout are definitely there, I thought the brew would be improved if they were heavier. This medium bodied beer finishes on the sweet side.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was roasted malt. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of chocolate dark malt and cherry. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
