On Tap at Brewery. Pours a cloudy, brownish amber with slight off white head. Aroma was a light fruit and light roast malt, slight hop bitterness. Taste was light fruit esters, roast malt and only a slight hop bitter. A nice old English Style Ale.

Tap at brewery. Buttery fruity caramel malt aroma. Murky amber with a small off-white head, thick creamy lacing. Biscuity caramel malt and light grassy hops flavor. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly astringent.

On draft as Brewpub in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The pour was an attractive caramel red with a small pink tinged head and light lacing. Nose of caramel malts and light pine and floral hops. Fairly light mouthfeel. Flavor was of malts pine, and the finish was ever so slightly bitter.

Draft at MABC. Small tan head that mostly diminished, sparse lacing, minimal carbonation, transparent, and a red hue. Aroma was malty and hoppy. Flavor was malty, buttery-thin and no bitterness as was expected with this beer style. Hmm. Thin mouthfeel. Light body.

Ft wayne pubcrawl '03 (did I mention the gyro at Munchies??--better than the beer rategyro.com) Coppery like my hair; head too thin, hoopy/malty combination in the nose with a piney woody taste.

Off of the hand pull at the brew pub. Dark copper in color with little nose and a small, off white head with nice lacing. Very smooth down the throat like you would expect from the hand pull, but maybe a little thin. Not very bitter with very little finish. Chuggable but not very interesting.

Fort Wayne event. The fifth brew of the evening. We moved to Mad Anthonys at 7PM. Here I was plesantly suprised to find 1 brew that I had not yet rated. Cool! This brew poured a small head of fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent brown colored body. The aroma was faint with barely noticeable notes of malt and hops. The mouthfeel was smooth and somewhat thin with a much less than expected bitter finish. The flavor was malty and had a mild hoppiness to it.

Not too many notes on the ESB. Poured a copper color, with a thin white head. Aroma of light malts and earthy hops. Nice flavor though- toasty malts, wood, and slightly bitter, earthy hops dominated the palate. I would drink this again.

Hand-pull: Copper hue with a small fizzy off-white head, no lace. Aroma hinted of light bread, hay, floral and grassy hops, orange, broth yeast, apple, cherry and cask wood. Very balanced taste with a smooth light bite, also buttery towards the finish. Slighty metallic mouthfeel from this thin to medium-bodied brew. The whole is greater than the parts ovreall. Smooth and clean, I happened to enjoy this.
