merlin48 (328), Henderson, Kentucky, USA Apr 14, 2008 Bottle pours a light golden body with an overly large white head. Aroma is buttered popcorn(diactyl?) with some crackery malt and light hops underneath. Taste comes off as well balnced and appropriate for the style, with sweet malts and mild bitter hopping. A hint of soapiness distracts. Largely forgettable.
dpjuart (520), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 24, 2008 Draft sample at brewpub. Pours light yellow with small, rimming white head. Nose is sweet and mildly corny. Taste is sweet malt, mild diacetyl. Not a bad take on a lager. pretty standard. dp (471), uniontown, Ohio, USA May 18, 2008 I easily drank 5 of these without trying last week in Indiana while watching a playoff game. Went very well with pizza, a tiny amount of bitterness, a malty after-taste, very light, enjoyable. heemer77 (3611), Savannah, Missouri, USA Apr 22, 2008 Pale yellow with a bright white head. The aroma is grassy with some urinal. The taste is light bell pepper and bread crust. There is also a character like sucking on a peach pit. Decent tasting, but I am not a fan of the aroma. bdigi66 (408), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 20, 2008 Tap pour: St. Paddy’s Day...so it’s GREEN! Yeah, lets all get excited about the fact that everybody and their brother thinks it’s necessary to dye their boring-ass pale lager green for this day. Being Irish in heritage, this bugs the shit out of me. Unimpressive, light malt notes, earthy and astringent. Boring.
