3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Overml01 (225) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Tap at the Fort Wayne location. Sooo creamy... a great mouthfeel! Personally I’d like it to be a touch sweeter, but it IS a dry stout, so I can’t fault it for that. It’s usually the first thing I order when I visit, and I just love the whole experience of drinking it. Feels like drinking a frothy storm cloud. Mmm... storm cloud.

On Tap. Pours a deep brown, nearly black, nice chocolaty head that dissipates. Aroma is a toffee, chocolate mix. Taste is roast malts with very light coffee notes. Could use a mouthier feel, but a nice stout nonetheless.

Pours black with a thin tan head. The aroma is burnt malt and roast. The taste is sharp black malt, roast, and coffee. This beer might be a bit better if it was a nitro pour, but it’s really pretty boring.
