Tap: at source (Ft. Wayne) Pours black with a creamy, brown head. Scent is gourmet coffee....chocolate and cream. Taste is creamy chocolate and coffee... Very silky. Not very strong, but the ultra smooth feel makes up for it..... Great.

On Tap. Pours a deep brown, nearly black, nice chocolaty head that dissipates. Aroma is a toffee, chocolate mix. Taste is roast malts with very light coffee notes. Could use a mouthier feel, but a nice stout nonetheless.

Pours black with a thin tan head. The aroma is burnt malt and roast. The taste is sharp black malt, roast, and coffee. This beer might be a bit better if it was a nitro pour, but it’s really pretty boring.

Pours dark/black with a tan creamy head. Roasty, toffee, and coffee notes on the nose. Taste is also roasty with the coffee notes. Fairly one dimensional with a creamy mouthfeel. Little hop flavor and almost a little thin.

On tap at MA in Warsaw, Poured dark, creamy brown with a heavy tan head. The nose was chocolate and coffee, with roasted malts coming through. The taste was roasted malt, with almond, coffee, and a little chocolate. Mouthfeel was very rich, with a bitter finish. All around not bad for the style, but I’m not into it.

After the sweet stout I was not quite sure what the dry stout would bring but this was just fine. The glass contained a brown pour with a tan head and good lacing. Nose of roasted malts and chocolate and some coffee notes. Smooth and rich mouthfeel. Flavors of roasted malts and coffee, and the finish is long and bitter. Good brew.
