3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nitro tap. In my opinion, nitro tapping is a sin. Thin and watery, despite it's black as night appearance. Their porter is thicker and more full bodied than this watery beer. Better than Guinness, but that's not saying much. If it wasn't nitro tapped, I bet I'd rate this about a full point higher.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not a bad brew, just not all that good. Dark body and a nice looking tan head. Aroma was mainly roasted something, not sure what though. Watery feel to it, dissapointing. Not a bad taste but a bit to bitter for my liking, or expectations.

Nice head and lacing, drank at room temperature, too thin with very little bite.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Murky dark with a thin beige head. Nitro pour with the characteristic smoothness. Stale coffee bitterness with a little smoke and a vanishing, dry finish. A little thin. Aggressively average. And it was the Powerpuff Girls Monopoly.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
The Fort Wayne tasting moved to Mad Anthony's after several opening volleys. I found this stout to be very watery. Poured chesnut brown with an off-white head. Slight roasted aroma. Flavor was of roasted malts, with some chocolate. Very much on the order of Guinness (I can still see bigbadbear63 shuddering at that comment...). Very drinkable even though a bit thin for my tastes.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nearly opaque with reddish tint. Has a average dark brown head and good lace. Nice aroma of dark bread, molasses, dark chocolate, mild coffee, earthy yeast, smoke, and vanilla. Nutty malt taste with a mild bitter and smoky undertone. Short thin mouthfeel, watery and fizzy. Nitro pour, tasty but just too thin. Overheard Jeff say "I have actually played powderpuff monopoly" while drinking this with theDM Ft. Wayne party gathering...hum

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2003 This brew poured a huge brown head of fine bubbles and left an excellent creamy clinging vine lacing as it receded. Its body was black as a stout should be. It has a mild malty aroma to it. Its taste was smooth initially and finishes strongly but still on the mild side and very drinkable

I sampled this stout and found it to have a somewhat mild aroma. To me it is mild with a smooth taste to it.I wasn't overly impressed, but wasn't totally unimpressed with this particular stout.

Pretty weak stout. It has a very unusual finish that I don’t recommend.
