2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jsquire (2484) - St. Marys, USA - DEC 6, 2005
On tap at the pub. Poured a murky brown with a very thin head that looked almost green under the lights at the bar and that died very quickly. Thin vegital nose with some spice. Flavor had lots of water with dusty pumpkin pie spice mixed in. Some grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Not my idea of a good pumpkin beer.

On tap at the brew pub. Pours amber with a thin white head. Pumpkin pie, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg aromas. Similar flavors with a light body, medium carbonation and watery mouthfeel.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 thedm (4126) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 17, 2005
This draft brew from the brewery in my home town poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent very softly carbonated light brown colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma had a very malt pumpkin scent. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and mellowed in the finish. The flavor was mildly pumpkin and not over done like many of the pumpkin brews I have had. Very tasty and actually quite good for the style!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 hotstuff (3249) - Indiana, USA - NOV 14, 2005
On tap at MABC. Off-white small head that mostly diminished, fine sized bubbles, fair lacing, no visible carbonation, transparent and an orange hue. Aroma was sweet, pumpkin, light notes of spice and clove. Flavor was sweet, malty and pumpkin. Smooth mouthfeel. Light body. A very nice brew and I welcomed the fact that it was not over-the-top pumpkin tasting like some that I have rated. Good job MABC!!
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BBB63 (5039) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - NOV 10, 2005
New on tap at brewery:
Rich amber hue with a small fizzy head and some lace. The aroma has notes of nutmeg, clove, allspice, pumpkin bread and some caramel. The taste starts with sweet malts supported by a mild pumpkin pie spice. A layer of twangy fruit and subdued bitters as well. Not over-the-top with the spices, nice. The body is thin but crisp. A solid brew that works within the style.
